Parent Testimonials

  • I am a parent of two girls, one of which graduated in 2018. I’ve been with this school as a parent since 2004 and during all these years I have come to realize that the school is very organized and disciplined as they take good care of both students and parents in all aspects, especially connectivity. This school also has a high standard of education and that reflects in my daughters’ work ethics. I am also very happy with their extracurricular activities as it gives students a chance to do things that may be out of their comfort zone, while also teaching them valuable lessons. Wesgreen is a school I would definitely recommend to parents looking for a worthwhile education"

  • My son Mayed Al Ali has always been passionate about learning, and this has been evident since his early years when he began learning phonics, maths, and educational songs in nursery school. However, his knowledge and skills have significantly developed in Year 2 at Wesgreen, as he has become more aware of the world around him and the importance of the information he receives in school.

Maths is one of the subjects that has greatly benefited Mayed’s understanding of the world. By studying currency and the price of goods in the supermarket, he is now able to compare different products and offer his opinion on whether or not to purchase them. This practical knowledge has helped him make more informed decisions in his daily life.

Mayed's reading skills have also seen remarkable development thanks to the weekly words given to students and supported by online games, such as the Ed-Shed programme. The use of online stories has also proven to be a smart and supportive way of teaching. He also borrows stories and books from the school library and reads them over the weekend.

Of course, there have been challenges in the educational process, but we are grateful for the efforts of the school's teachers and staff. They have been constantly present and provided additional educational resources tailored to Mayed's needs. Being a part of the Wesgreen community has brought us great joy, and we wish the school all the best.

  • As a parent of four children who finished their high school degree from Wesgreen, I would say that when it comes to the heart of it, personal development and education are the two core values that make a school great... in essence. Wesgreen has been able to develop all my children into the credible people they are today, with knowledge, understanding and moral value that separate them from the rest. Simply, the complex cortex of the "Wesgreen formula" is the perfect equation to building young individuals."

  • After spending more than a decade in Wesgreen's enriching and diverse environment, I often reflect on how the school's dynamics have shaped me into a more independent person. The friends and mentors I have met along the way have made me realise how much I value and continue to appreciate their captivating insights and advice. The skills and experiences I have learned at Wesgreen have taught me to pursue my interests and seize opportunities, regardless of how difficult the road ahead may initially seem. It's safe to say that the end of my school years is bittersweet. Although I'm eager to explore the next chapter in my life, it goes without saying that Wesgreen has truly been an unforgettable part of my life that I'll continue to cherish for years to come.

I have grown tremendously over the past 12 years in character, academics, and social skills due to the supportive and diverse environment that any child would dream of. Wesgreen is my second home, my support system, and my forever favorite nourishing environment. • Wesgreen has taught us how to be selfless as the word "I" turns to "us" when it comes to our studies, events, and achievements. We were taught everything we love, from how to create a business from the ground up to how compounds and chemicals are all around us.

    Mera Jarrar

  • Wesgreen taught me how to be independent, the value of building my skills, and the importance of knowing how to rely on them. It gave me the freedom to create opportunities for myself and my fellow students, which enabled me to know that I can always aim for more and work towards any goal I choose to pursue.

  • Wesgreen has been the backdrop to the most pivotal experiences of the most formative years of my young adult life. The people here have been an unending source of inspiration for me, whether it be the dazzling achievements of my classmates and their quirky sense of humor or the voices of my teachers who see possibility and potential in me and, like lighthouses in the dark, show me how to see it too. School is always like home — you may move out (class of 2019, woohoo!), you may go far, but you're always, in some sense, home.

  • Wesgreen was a great place to enhance my personality, make new friends, meet new people and have many opportunities I couldn’t have imagined having anywhere else. • My name is Sara Elhoussaini and I have been in Wesgreen for about 10 years. my experience in the school made me the person I am today. Wesgreen taught me important characteristics, factors and attitudes that contribute well in life. Wesgreen taught me punctuality, respect, and independence. Wesgreen taught me the value of teamwork, consistency and how to manage your time. I am forever grateful that I studied and graduated from Wesgreen because although it was a challenge in some educational respects, it taught me to constantly fight through obstacles and not give up whenever I don’t reach a specific goal. Wesgreen teaches its students what needs to be taught, it taught and addressed students about real-life problems and how to deal with them. I can proudly say that Wesgreen will always be held in high regards for me especially after a decade, it was my second home and always will be.

  • Studying at Wesgreen international school has given me a lot of good moments but my best moments were in my senior grade where all of us classmates would hang out together, share our memories and our experiences. The moments where we would start talking personally with the teacher and everyone would be chill. This school has given me the experience to be myself and to challenge myself from the core, which I am forever grateful for. Thank you Wesgreen for an amazing time.

  • Wesgreen International School was a safe place that allowed me to grow and connect with others. It digs out the potential in their students and greatly amplifies them, by giving us positions and important roles within the school system. It has given me opportunities that I would not have gotten otherwise. The responsibilities given to us as students as well as the varied extra-curricular activities it provides is what sets this school apart.

  • A good education is like a coral reef. It protects the boundaries of the system it exists in by creating what the future social needs. Just like a coral reef, a good education is hard to find and preserve. However, Wesgreen is a school that supplied me with a high-quality education and provided me with a great foundation to perform outstandingly in my future career. From the enthusiastic teachers, hardworking staff, and amazing friends, I have made some of the best memories of my life in Wesgreen. It also gave me a great platform for a diverse range of extracurricular activities that allowed me to develop and harness many skills. Overall, my experience in Wesgreen taught me how to think, not what to think and that kind of mental independence is difficult to find nowadays.

    Romila Emran

  • My experience at Wesgreen was amazing, as it was a place where I could figure out my future and the path I needed to take in life. It was a fun place where my friends and I had a lot of fun, especially this year. We will surely miss Wesgreen.

  • Studying at Wesgreen International School was a long and crazy journey that I am grateful to have been a part of. Wesgreen has given me some of my best memories with the most incredible people I have ever met. The shenanigans we had in the common room with all my friends, classes with our favorite teachers, and all the fun days Wesgreen offered us will be forever missed. I am truly thankful to Wesgreen for giving us the space to find ourselves, learn new things, and grow together.

    Zahraa Patel

  • My ten years at Wesgreen have taught me so many lessons, one of which is patience. When I joined in Grade 2, I remember being a shy little girl struggling to make friends and communicate with my peers. I can now confidently say that those days are behind me. My love for science has always motivated me to study harder, even when it was tough, but that's just life. My friends and family were my pillars, and I will cherish my time at Wesgreen.

    Ayzah Asad

  • I grew up hearing the proverb 'school is your second home,' and once I was enrolled in Wesgreen International School, that phrase became a reality. Wesgreen served as a second home, an educational institute, and my happy place - a place where I was surrounded by teachers and students who encouraged and supported me through thick and thin. Wesgreen has taught me two valuable lessons: to always strive for success and perfection and that ambition is the key to triumph. Thank you for the dedication put into every little activity, thank you for always going the extra mile, and thank you for making me the person I am today.

    Maab Hafiz

  • I have so many things to thank Wesgreen for. Wesgreen has provided me with different opportunities and experiences that have allowed me to grow as a person and as a student. There was never a dull day at Wesgreen. I met the best people at school - people I would call my friends for life - and teachers who have taught me such important life lessons. The unforgettable memories I have made here are ones I’ll cherish forever.

  • Wesgreen has allowed me the opportunity to grow and develop as a person, a friend, and overall, a human being. I have learned respect, honor, and compassion. I feel I have become a part of a family after all my years at this school. Our whole grade has been a crazy batch of fun-loving people who care about each other. We have had our ups and downs, from cramming for tests to ordering food and making TikToks. Our greatest accomplishment was WISMUN. We spent endless hours, and in the end, it was very successful. It gave us experience in the real world and allowed us to work together in a more professional sense. Overall, Wesgreen inspires students and creates students who are determined to be happy and successful.

  • Wesgreen has helped me a lot throughout my academic years. Wesgreen offers exciting extracurricular activities such as WISMUN, the Business Fair, and the Science Fair. I served as the Assistant Director of IT for WISMUN, where I was able to experience a day in the life of an IT specialist. Additionally, Wesgreen promotes great campaigns such as the Wellbeing Committee and the Anti-Bullying Squad. I am proud to be a part of these campaigns, supporting fellow students and creating a happy and safe environment for learning. I am grateful for the opportunity to study at Wesgreen.

  • Some of my best years and moments were experienced growing up at Wesgreen. From playing football on the field to laughing together when feeling overwhelmed by schoolwork, most of the time, the best memories are made during the simplest of moments, like sitting around in the common room and talking with each other. A sense of brotherhood was built upon the years of being together at Wesgreen, and that is what school life is all about. Having a good brotherhood amongst your peers is the most important aspect of high school life.

  • I am beyond grateful for the amazing education and unforgettable memories that I have made at Wesgreen. I have made lifelong friends and built strong bonds with teachers, some of whom have been with me for several years. The many competitions and extracurricular activities that Wesgreen offers, such as the annual STEAM fair and WISMUN, have taught me the importance of hard work and determination. Wesgreen has helped me grow into the strong, independent, and compassionate leader that I am proud to be. I will forever be grateful for being a part of this remarkable institution.

  • Wesgreen has truly polished my characteristics as a person, a student, and a leader. My time at Wesgreen has brought me much joy. Here, I have made lifelong friendships and created memories that will last a lifetime. The immense amount of patience and support from my teachers is what makes me feel confident, whether it be in my academics or outside of school, that future success is within my reach. The academic year 2022-2023 was truly filled with great experiences that I will cherish forever.

  • I joined Wesgreen in 2008, graduated in 2017 and I’m currently a final year Law student at Trinity College Dublin. My time at Wesgreen helped me really grow as a person. Besides offering a brilliant education, the staff placed a strong emphasis on leadership roles and extra-curricular activities that gave me many opportunities to enhance my interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. My teachers were nothing but supportive especially in my final years when figuring out my career paths and navigating university applications. Without the help of my teachers I wouldn’t be where I am today. They truly want the best for their students. During my A levels I wanted to study subjects that were not usually offered. However, as soon as I expressed interest, accommodations were quickly made to ensure I studied the subjects I desired.

  • I started my educational journey at Wesgreen International School in September 2014 and graduated in June 2019. I spent this past academic year studying for my A-Levels in order to further my studies in Dublin, Ireland, focusing on engineering. I feel the guidance and knowledge that my teachers provided have led to me achieving the results I need to attract offers from leading universities in Ireland. The pinnacle of my secondary schooling would undoubtedly be the various leadership roles I have served in alongside many accomplished students. My time at Wesgreen has shown me how the core values of the school, promotes equal opportunity for students to express the best version of themselves. A strong emphasis is made on both the academic and extra-curricular aspects of student development, with countless opportunities to shine in events such as science fairs, business fairs, debates and MUN conferences. As a member of Wesgreen’s alumni, I hope to contribute towards the progress of current students to the best of my ability; and encourage present students to reach out to ex-students for any guidance or advice they may need.

  • Wesgreen holds a very close place in my heart. I was challenged to develop and make decisions that I never thought I would be able to do with the support of my teachers. I participated in MUN conferences abroad, bake sales and more. There was always an opportunity to learn something apart from our regular academic work. Wesgreen promoted leadership roles and wanted every student to be involved. I feel like that motivation helped me improve my leadership skills. I am currently working as a student manager in my university’s computer department. I will be graduating in 2020/2021, and I owe it to the staff at Wesgreen International School for helping me realize that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. My favorite memory of Wesgreen was the small meetings that we used to have with Mr. Andy Cheung during form time. I could go on and on about the memories I have made, but I feel like the time I’ve spent in Wesgreen is a memory in itself.

  • My experience at Wesgreen International School has been positive in all aspects. As students, we are provided with an environment geared towards learning, but also one in which to develop into the best person we can be. This, coupled with the multitude of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, prepares all students with the tools to succeed in the wider world.

  • Ever since I first came to Wesgreen International School, I have been presented with countless opportunities that forced me to go outside of my comfort zone and develop as a person. They helped me understand more about myself and showed me what I am capable of. Wesgreen has forced me to evolve socially and mentally and has helped me become a better person.

    Farhan Ali Mir

  • Hard work, persistence, perseverance, and a tenacious attitude towards achieving success are a few of the many things the school expects of its student body. With students possessing a consistent DC-like rhythm, except a gradient with infinity as it’s valued; opportunity is profuse, and support is at one's fingertips. This is what lays the solid foundations for the infrastructural build of the community at Wesgreen International School. A breeding ground for well-rounded individuals is fueled by teachers who provide perpetually overflowing assistance whenever it is required. Simply put, "Work Insures Success" is what Wesgreen International School and its community strictly abide by.

    Khalil Ibrahim

  • Wesgreen International School is where I found my voice and a community on which I could depend for support. My mentors and peers challenged me to aim for the stars and surpass my own goals. We found joy in supporting one another and challenging each other to succeed in all aspects of school life.

    Yahia Ayman

  • I have had the honour to call Wesgreen my home for the last 10 years of my life and I would not have it any other way. Wesgreen is truly an inclusive environment where innovation sparks diversity. I will never forget the people I met, lessons I learned, tears I shed and the memories I made in the halls throughout my journey as a primary, middle and high school student. I cannot imagine my life outside of Wesgreen, but I know that I have been prepared for greatness. I will do my best to do my home proud.
